So Far Behind!

Seven Months Old

Hello everyone. I am so far behind my goal of posting weekly- I see it has almost been a month!

We have been having technical difficulties (again) and hopefully have the trouble behind us for a while.

First- thanks to everyone in Michigan for a great trip. It was fun seeing everyone and we are so glad you got to meet Aden and Andrew in person.

The boys really enjoyed getting to play with their Nana and all their cousins.

Also we said 'bye to Gary and Bev, who moved back East. We are missing you guys already!

Aden is really crawling now, and Andrew really wants to. Aden has 2 teeth and Andrew has 1. Andrew gives '5' when he feels like it and they are both growing like mad. Andrew also says 'Bubba', and I think I heard Aden say it too.

Now I am back on track and will be valiantly attempting to keep up with my once a week posting goal!

A Little Movie for You

We finally found the movie editing software that goes with our new video camera. Shock of all shocks it was filed away where it belongs in the software album! Thanks honey for finding it and installing it and getting me set up to make movies.

So here is my first effort...

It's a little ad for Andrew's first business (Grandpa might be his first customer).

Following is Aden figuring out some locomotion.

Enjoy!

Finally - A TOOTH!

Well, Aden has finally cut his first tooth. For real. I know, I know, I have been going on about their teeth coming in for a long time, but there really is a tooth in there! They are both getting so big and learning new things so fast. Aden has been getting up on all fours, but thankfully not going anywhere yet. I am not ready. I don't have my 'twin-pen' set up yet. They are both starting to really take notice of Lucy and Bella. Yesterday they were both 'talking' to Bella and just squealing with delight. They also like to sit on Dad's lap and pet her. Andrew loves to blow raspberries on Mom's arm after he gets his diaper changed. He is also trying to pat his mouth to go 'ba, ba, ba'. They are really into their toys now as well. Andrew is particularly good at banging things, knocking things over, and taking them apart. Aden is really good at pushing buttons.

They are both great eaters and Aden loves his Cheerios. So much that he falls asleep while he is eating them.

Andrew was taking advantage of the situation to mess up Aden's hair.

2 weeks ago we only had one stuffed bunny. Well, last week we messed up and got a second bunny- well as you can imagine those naughty little bunnies have multiplied in the last week! Darn bunnies!

Aden thought posing with the bunnies was a lot more fun than his brother- I have so many super-cute pictures of him with the bunnies it was hard to choose which one to post.

Next week we head to Michigan and the boys are going on their first plane ride. We are going to have a FUNtastic time. Michiganders- see you soon!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Hope everyone had a great holiday. We had the pleasure of sharing our day with Gary and Beverly. We are really going to miss them when they move back east. On the bright side we have a place to stay when we go visit!

Here is Bev holding Andrew- he just can't keep his little belly covered!

Here is Aden, happily napping in Bev's arms. Life is good!

Here we are exploring the boys' first Easter basket. Paul should do commercials with that expression on his face! Obviously the boys are pretty determined to get into the chocolate bunnies- too bad they only got to taste the boxes. Maybe next year boys...

As you can see we had a beautiful, warm sunny day to enjoy.

We even got treated to a fly-by by some bald eagles. They were coming by to check up on Beverly. They were so high up- but here is a picture Paul snapped- it's blown up a lot here- so forgive the quality...

It was a very good day. Thanks Gary and Bev!

Bonus Pictures

I hope they make you smile as much as they make us smile!

Love to all~

Carrot Goatees and Counting Cheerios

Greetings from Gabli-land. Andrew and Aden continue to entertain us with their various antics. They are starting to eat some Cheerios by themselves and can sit alone for short periods of time. Those darn teeth are still nowhere to be seen. At their six-month check-up Aden weighed in at 16 lbs 4 oz and Andrew at 18 lbs 4 oz. They are both pretty long beans but Andrew is almost an inch longer at 29 1/2".

Andrew rolled over onto Aden and decided he made a pretty good cushion.

He was really enjoying his bubba recliner. I'm not so sure about Aden.

Aden's carrot goatee.

Here's Aden counting his Cheerios. Making sure they are all there.

While we were in Oklahoma we picked up the boys' cedar chests that Grandma and Grandpa Newton had made for them. Here is Aden modeling his.
And Andrew too, sweet as ever.

Daddy and Andrew at Uncle Randall's.

Again we really had fun in Oklahoma. It was great getting to see Uncle Robert, Michael and Aunt Judy in Kingfisher (I can't believe I didn't get any pictures!).

Here are some more happy faces we got to see at Grandma and Grandpa's and luckily got some pictures of!

Aunt Juanita, Kellie and Kaycee. Haha! I got your picture Juanita! And you are now an internet STAR!

Whew! We also got to see Troy, Tina, Michael, Brandon and Keira. And thanks to Chase for picking up Paul at the airport. So good to see you all- we'll be back in July!

Roadtrippers

Well, we are back in Marysville and mostly recovered from our roadtrip to OK. We covered 7 states and 2071 miles in under 30 hours- both ways! Incredible, methinks! Aden and Andrew were excellent travellers and they are practicing their driving so they can help drive the next trip.

Aden looks like a real gear-jammer, and Andrew has the 'look Ma, no hands!' thing down already! Thanks to Uncle Randall we didn't have to turn the wheel over to the speedster or the mouth-driver.

Here's the rig we ran non-stop to OK. Runs great! See George if you're in the market (-:

Aden and Andrew really took to Uncle Randall. I don't think they fussed for him once.

Looks like they have the same expression on their faces in this one.

Aden and Tara- what is he thinking?

Grant feeding Andrew. The most sure-fire way to be Andrew's buddy is getting him his grub!

Grandpa is an excellent napping buddy!

We had a really good time and really enjoyed getting to see everyone. I have more pictures to post, yet I still feel like we didn't take nearly enough! More to come later...

A Rosy Picture

I think the boys had their first 'brat' attack today. It all started when I showed them this rose. (Thanks for the flowers, Paul (-:)

They look so sweet with it in the pictures. And it was so cute- they smelled it (sort of), tore off petals and leaves, tried to eat it, and screamed bloody murder when I took it away. And all smiles and sweet when I gave it back. Great. I gave it back. See, I am teaching them to whine and squawk already!

Andrew being his old cute self.

A rare double smile for Aden and Andrew!

Another double smile! I guess that makes this a double double post!

Although he looks like he has black eyes, they are not. He just woke up.

They are such happy little guys. They are now sturdy enough for hanging upside down (Andrew loves it), and getting the fast version of rock-a-bye baby. They can scooch around a little bit and are champion toy-grabbers. They love their soft books and anything they can chew. I swear those teeth are in there. I am sure I see little bits of white in Aden's gums.

I will keep you posted!
